Every morning, Phil and I jump out of bed and check our e-mail to see if the agency sent us anything and it seems the time in between those birth situation and emergency placements is becoming longer and longer. That is for sure a bittersweet feeling. I guess, the wait is starting to become more of a wait for us as we are touching upon 5 months! That is not to say we are 100% ready, I sincerely don't think we will ever be but there is still a lot more we have to do and this snow needs to melt! Maybe a spring or summer baby? *crosses fingers*

Now that most of the required shopping has been done (since October) we are shuffling the baby's items into the new nursery. Right now, it is painted a pale gray which we will accent with the oh so original pink or blue once we know the baby's gender! As for us, we have our names chosen for both sexes and the best part in this is, we really will be excited no matter the gender although I do believe we tip in our preference towards one side! I often wondered when was the right time to actually setup the nursery, buy the items on the list that the agency suggest and even when to do a bridal registry. I really researched a lot to see when people do what but the consensus usually starts shopping immediately, waits a few months after being in the books for the nursery and has the baby shower after the baby is born. I know there is no right or wrong timing in all of these situations but sometimes I just wish there was a "What to expect when your adopting" guide...but for now, I have my head wrapped in...
