No really, we are having the toughest time writing about ourselves but we are having fun with it of course!
Jill: Honey, how are you doing over there?
Phil: Great!
Jill: You Lie o.O (He was sitting there and had not typed for a long time)
Phil: Noo...Being from Canada means your honest!
Jill: Okay then, I am going to practice being Canadian and tell you what I thought about that *tosses a paper ball at him*
Back to our papers:
*Writes for hours and hours and hours and hours - checks the list of items and realizes all those pages only covered one section and over 100 questions left (those who do this paperwork can sympathize!)
Hands went numb: [Insert procrastination cuddle, walk and dinner]
With the break that we so needed, we realized that we were still up and writing at 4am and at that time, I had 12 pages written and Phil had 10!
It is VERY hard to write an autobiography to try and help a stranger get to know who you are, where you came from and where you intend to go. I will say, it was a very emotional process for each of us as we had to reminisce on our childhood then immediately plan the childhood of our child. This 'assignment' was truly a blessing though and we finally finished it and sent it off. Now, I am going to listen to an adoption podcast and drift off to sleep!
I will take the trash out in the morning ;)
